A key to your own workspace.
Create the key in the same browser you use for Studio. Characters made by your agent will appear in that browser’s library.
1. Create a connection keyThe key grants access to this browser’s characters and generation allowance. It expires after 30 days and can be revoked here.
2. Add the server to your clientCopy the configuration into Cursor’s MCP settings. In other Streamable HTTP clients, use the endpoint and Authorization header shown here.
The preview hides your key. Copy includes it. Keep it out of chat messages and public repositories; keys are shown only when created.
Creating or editing sends your description and relevant images to image-model providers. Imported references may be checked by a vision provider.
Nine tools. A complete workflow.
Start with get_capabilities. Discovery is public; private reads and all creative actions require your workspace key.

import_assetImport a reference as an asset ID.
create_characterGenerate from a description, or save a reference unchanged.
edit_imageEdit by semantic region, bounding box or mask.
get_jobCheck progress and inspect the result image.
list_charactersFind characters in your workspace.
get_characterRead the current image and version history.

export_characterGet private PNG and character JSON downloads.
Give your agent a creative brief.
“Create an original adult detective with silver hair and a long coat, in illustration style. Show me the result, then change just the coat to navy blue.”
- Check availability; create_character returns a job ID.
- Poll get_job every 3 seconds. Inspect the returned image.
- Call edit_image with the exact version ID and target: outfit.
- Inspect the candidate, then select_version to accept it.
- Open the Studio link in this browser or export PNG + JSON.
A limited preview
Discovery is free. Creation and editing use a daily workspace allowance and a shared service quota. The live limits are shown above. Generation stops when either limit is reached.
Keep every version
Edits create candidates. Your current image changes only when you select a result. Strict mode preserves pixels outside the effective mask; whole-image composition does not guarantee identical identity.
Retry safely
Reuse the same idempotency key for an identical request. An unknown outcome requires inspection, not an automatic new submission. Private download links expire after 15 minutes.
